School happens in the middle of real life. Keeping the record should be the easy part.

A little less to carry

The teaching took all day.
The record took a sentence.

WHAT YOU SAID
A boy standing on a chair at the kitchen counter measuring flour into a bowl while his mother steadies it and his little sister sits on the counter

“Micah doubled the muffin recipe this morning, fractions and all, and Nia cracked the eggs. While they baked, Grace read two chapters of Charlotte’s Web out loud to both of them.”

One voice note, while the muffins baked.
WHAT HAVEN WROTE
Micah1h 20m

Doubled the muffin recipe, turning ¾ cup of flour into 1½ cups and measuring every ingredient himself. Then listened to two chapters of Charlotte’s Web.

How it works

You tell the story.
Haven does the paperwork.

No forms, no subject pickers, no catching up on Sunday night. Just what happened, in your own words.

Mae counted the eggs for breakfast and split them between everyone.

Say what happened.

Talk, type or snap a photo, whenever it’s fresh. Half a sentence is plenty.

Mae15m

Counted the eggs for breakfast and shared them out equally.

Haven sorts it, child by child.

One story becomes a moment for each kid, at their level, with subjects and time filled in.

H Here’s Ellie’s moment. I changed one thing from what you said.

Wrote a three-paragraph letter to Grandma about the pumpkin patch.

You approve. Nothing saves without you.

Haven never edits silently. Every suggestion is a preview, and your words stay yours.

Ways to capture

However the day happened,
capture it.

Talk in the car, snap the science fair, or type a line at the kitchen table. Haven turns each one into tagged moments.

Journal & reports

When report time comes,
it’s already written.

Every moment you approve lands in a dated journal. Haven adds up the hours by subject and rolls it all into quarterly and yearly reports.

“Haven started at our kitchen table. Amanda teaches our kids every day, and the teaching was never the hard part. Remembering all of it for the end-of-year report was. We built Haven so the record takes a sentence, not a Sunday.”

Questions

A few things you might be wondering.

I have more than one kid. Do I log each one?

Say it once. When the kids did something together, Haven gives each child their own moment, at their own level and time, with a small Together tag.

Will this cover what my state asks for?

Haven keeps a dated journal for each child, tracks hours by subject and exports quarterly and yearly reports. Reports shaped to each state’s requirements are coming soon. Until then, check what your state or evaluator asks for.

Does Haven change anything without asking?

Never. Every suggestion arrives as a preview you approve, and you can always edit the words.
